Marketing Manager (Pharma & MedTech) - UK & Ireland
Hybrid (UK/Ireland) | Permanent | Competitive salary + benefits
Build the go-to industry ecosystem for pharma and medtech engagement.
Pharma-Partners are partnering with a fast growing healthtech start-up looking to hire an experienced marketing professional to drive brand presence, thought leadership, and demand generation across the UK and Irish pharmaceutical and medical device markets. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, this is a high-impact role with end-to-end ownership of strategy, execution, and the key metrics that fuel brand awareness, market credibility, and marketing-qualified leads.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CCO to accelerate an already proven revenue model, strengthen trust and market credibility, and help position the platform as a primary channel for clinician engagement.
Responsibilities
Thought Leadership & Content
- Develop and execute a thought leadership programme targeting UK and Irish pharma and medical device decision-makers, including white papers, roundtables, expert interviews, blog content, and industry commentary.
- Design and run surveys of healthcare professionals to generate proprietary insights that reinforce the companies market position and unique value.
- Leverage internal platform data to produce compelling content assets showcasing clinician engagement trends, knowledge gaps, and market opportunities.
- Build and manage relationships with trade publications, PR contacts, and media partners to place content in high-value channels.
Brand Awareness & Market Positioning
- Own and grow the companies brand presence within the pharmaceutical and medical device community across the UK and Ireland.
- Build, manage, and optimise LinkedIn campaigns that strengthen visibility, engagement, and brand authority.
- Manage and enhance the existing pharma-focused newsletter to increase audience growth and retention.
Demand Generation & Lead Pipeline
- Build and own the marketing-qualified lead (MQL) pipeline with clear attribution, reporting, and CRM tracking.
- Create and optimise multi-channel inbound campaigns designed to generate demand from target industry stakeholders.
- Partner closely with commercial leadership to ensure lead quality, conversion visibility, and pipeline contribution.
Strategy & Measurement
- Define, track, and report on core marketing KPIs including ecosystem growth, engagement, MQL generation, pipeline contribution, and brand awareness indicators.
- Provide strategic input into market positioning, competitor activity, and go-to-market strategy.
- Continuously test, learn, and iterate across channels - scaling what performs and quickly refining what does not.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marketing within the pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare agency, or clinician platform space, with direct experience marketing to this audience.
- Strong track record building and executing thought leadership programmes, including white papers, roundtables, trade publication activity, and events.
- Demonstrated success generating marketing-qualified leads with clear and measurable attribution.
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot (or equivalent marketing automation platforms), LinkedIn Ads, and campaign analytics.
- Strong understanding of the UK and Irish pharmaceutical and medical device landscape.
- Knowledge of the ABPI Code of Conduct and the wider compliance environment for pharma marketing in the UK.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex healthcare topics into compelling commercial narratives.
- Results-driven, proactive, and highly accountable, with the confidence to own outcomes autonomously.
- Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment is strongly preferred.
