Senior Scientist
Pharma-Partners are currently supporting an established UK company looking to hire a senior scientist to join their science and innovation team. The role will be part of a growing team and will work across the product range providing key scientific input into ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply cutting-edge scientific frameworks and guidelines that enable the creation of innovative health and wellness products.
- Deliver high-quality scientific dossiers to support evidence-based development of new and enhanced solutions.
- Guide product development teams by translating emerging research into commercially viable, credible innovations.
- Lead the execution of the research strategy to generate strong scientific evidence that supports product innovation and differentiation.
- Analyse and interpret scientific data to inform R&D decisions and uncover opportunities for breakthrough innovation.
- Ensure all innovation is rooted in scientific integrity, maintaining rigorous standards and clear documentation of evidence.
- Act as the scientific lead across innovation projects, working cross-functionally to ensure science is embedded from concept to launch.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including research institutions, to codevelop forward-thinking, evidence-backed solutions.
- Present scientific findings clearly to influence internal decision-makers and strengthen H&B’s position as a research-driven innovator in wellness
The Candidate:
- PhD, MSc preferred
- Deep expertise in nutritional science with a strong track record in designing and delivering research to inform product innovation.
- Proven ability to lead and interpret nutrition research, including interventional or realworld evidence studies
- Skilled in translating complex scientific evidence into clear, credible insights that shape product development, services, and marketing narratives.
- Experience in health and wellness industry or FMCG highly desirable, particularly in the area of food or food supplements/VHMS
- Highly collaborative team player, experienced in leading cross-functional projects and working with internal and external scientific stakeholders.
Remuneration:
- Basic annual salary depending on experience plus a standard benefits package
