Pharma-Partners is supporting a growing consumer healthcare organisation seeking to appoint an Advertising Compliance Executive to join its Scientific Affairs and Innovation team. This role is ideal for an experienced compliance professional who is passionate about responsible communications, regulatory excellence, and enabling innovative marketing activity while safeguarding brand integrity.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted compliance partner to Marketing, Digital, Regulatory, and Commercial teams, ensuring that all promotional and non-promotional activities across medical devices, food supplements, cosmetics, and medicines comply with UK and relevant international advertising legislation and industry codes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review, approve, and advise on promotional and non-promotional materials across digital, social, print, broadcast, e-commerce, influencer content, and PR channels.
  • Ensure compliance with MHRA guidance, Human Medicines Regulations, PAGB, ABPI, ABHI, ASA CAP & BCAP Codes, and relevant Nutrition and Health Claims Regulations.
  • Assess and substantiate claims to ensure communications are accurate, balanced, and appropriately supported.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Brand, Digital, Regulatory, and Legal teams to provide clear, pragmatic compliance advice.
  • Support campaign development early to enable compliant innovation and avoid late-stage rework.
  • Maintain robust approval processes, documentation, and audit trails for advertising sign-off.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ASA rulings, proactively advising the business of risks and impacts.
  • Support responses to advertising complaints, product enquiries, or regulatory challenges.
  • Deliver training and guidance to internal and external stakeholders on advertising compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to SOPs, templates, and best-practice guidance, continuously improving efficiency and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Experience in advertising compliance or a related role within consumer healthcare, medical devices, cosmetics, food supplements, or medicines.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK and EU advertising and promotional regulations (ASA, CAP & BCAP Codes, MHRA guidance).
  • Experience reviewing claims and promotional content for both Healthcare Professionals and consumers.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret regulations pragmatically.
  • Confident communicator able to influence and challenge constructively.
  • Commercially minded with a strong compliance mindset.
  • Calm, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Comfortable working at pace in a marketing-led environment.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • aCollaborative and approachable, with the confidence to stand firm when needed.
