Brand Manager – UK

Pharma-Partners are currently supporting a small, specialist pharma company looking to hire a Brand Manager to be part of its UK team.

This will be an integral part of the commercial team and be heavily involved in the management of entrusted products by analysing their potential, creating and implementing appropriate marketing strategies as well as their effective implementation.

Responsibilities:

  • Shaping, implementing and ongoing supervision of the marketing strategy of entrusted products.
  • Responsibility for the preparation, management and effective use of promotional materials.
  • Analyzing the effectiveness of marketing investments through market research, direct contact with doctors, work with Medical Representatives, etc.
  • Effective management of the promotional budget.
  • Maintaining contacts with service providers (advertising agencies, etc.), negotiating contracts, supervising their implementation.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with the medical community.
  • Maintaining a high level of substantive knowledge about the entrusted products, competitors and the therapeutic area.
  • Oversight and Support of Marketing Coordinator: Provide day-to-day guidance and management of the Marketing Coordinator, ensuring they remain aligned with priorities, deadlines, and project goals.
  • Leadership of Brand Team and Brand Initiatives: Lead the UK-I Brand Team and oversee all brand-related activities, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution across campaigns.
  • Strategic Collaboration with Global Brand Team: Act as the key liaison between the UK-I team and the Global Brand Team. Ensure seamless communication and collaboration to localise global strategies effectively.
  • Building a positive image of ourselves and the Company through commitment, cooperation and initiating constructive solutions.
  • Preparation of analyses and interpretation of market research results.
  • Preparing and conducting product training for the company’s employees regarding the entrusted products.

The Candidate:

  • Degree educated with prior experience in a brand/marketing role in the UK pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically
  • Creativity, independence and enthusiasm in action
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to make presentations and fluency in MS Office
  • Good command of spoken and written English (min. B2)

Remuneration:

  • Basic annual salary depending on experience plus a standard benefits package
