Job title: Senior Medical Writer - Neurology, Oncology and HIV

A boutique Medical Education agency with offices south of Manchester are seeking a Senior Medical Writer to join their editorial team. You will work across traditional materials such as launch campaigns, advisory boards, publications planning, medical affairs and patient education tools. Therapy areas include Neurology, Women's Health, Haematology, Oncology and Infectious Diseases.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality written materials across a range of media, including slides, manuscripts, posters, advisory boards, patient education tools and meeting reports.
  • Build trusting, professional relationships with clients and healthcare professionals, anticipating their needs and acting independently as an expert in the field
  • Keep abreast of advances and developments in any given therapeutic area
  • Contribute to innovative "out of the box" solutions for medical writing projects

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience within the pharmaceutical industry, ideally within a medical communications agency
  • PhD/MD in medicine, life or health sciences, or pharmacy
  • Proven ability to lead projects in a motivating way and manage capacities effectively
