Medical Writer – Market Access
Pharma Partners are currently partnering with a key client who are a leading healthcare Value & Access consultancy that works with a range of healthcare product and service providers, aiding development, and commercialisation. They are passionate people working as integrated global teams, growing a respected healthcare value consultancy business that is committed to personal development and rewarding high performance.
The Role
Following significant business growth, they are seeking experienced medical writers to join their market access team and support with the high-quality editorial development of their client projects. The services they offer their market access clients demand many of the same skills required of writers in medical communications, e.g. interpretation of data, high-quality content development, and attention to detail, however this role brings the added element of understanding value demonstration with commercial acumen, particularly from a payer perspective.
About you
We feel this would be an ideal opportunity for either an experienced Medical Writer or a Senior Medical Writer who is looking for a new challenge in a role that allows use and development of their skills, but in a different agency environment working for different clients and a new target audience. The nature of market access, with a focus on pre- and peri-launch, means there’s also opportunity to experience a wide range of different therapy areas and products with each new project.
How you fit in
The role involves creating and delivering solutions for clients that inform the development of value propositions and value communications to optimize pricing, reimbursement, and market access, working in collaboration with the Analyst team, project / account leads, and with support from the Senior Directors within the business. This includes ensuring high quality deliverables are produced both individually and collaboratively with the team. A passion for developing yourself and others, scientific and strategic insight and a creative mind set are essential as is an appetite for working hard and having fun.
