Medical Science Liaison (MSL) - Neuroscience - Benelux

Pharma-Partners is working with a small specialty pharma business focussed on improving patients' lives who suffer from rare disease by developing and commercialising products in areas of unmet need.

This is a brand new role as part of a new affiliate team build for the Benelux region. This MSL position will be the field medical lead for all things Neuroscience, and drive engagement activities across the territory. The main focus upon joining the business will be centred around new drug launches with 2 compounds in the Rare Neurology space to bring to market.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a scientific/medical expert in the Neurosciences field
  • Organise and deliver medical education meetings
  • Support company-sponsored and Investigator Initiated Research
  • Identify clinical investigators with research interests aligned to the medical plan
  • Provide scientific expertise and technical support to Key Opinion Leaders
  • Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs across the country
  • Focusing on patient outcomes, develop local guidelines to support the use of the company's Neuroscience product
  • Ensure adherence to company SOPs and medial compliance
  • Effectively collaborate as part of a cross-functional field team with Commercial and Market Access colleagues
  • Deliver internal training in the therapy area as required

Candidate Requirements:

  • Science/medical based degree and ideally educated to higher degree level (eg. MSc, PhD, MPharm, MD etc.)
  • Must have experience as an MSL
  • Therapy area experience in Neurology, Psychiatry, Rare Diseases, or Respiratory is preferred
  • Demonstrable experience in managing key internal and external relationships
  • Effectively assimilate scientific and clinical data to the relevant audience
  • Understanding of the Benelux healthcare space
