Medical Science Liaison (MSL) – Neuroscience – North UK
Pharma-Partners is working with a small pharmaceutical company to hire a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the North of the UK. You will engage with Neurology KOLs and HCPs across the territory and drive medically led field projects.
Alongside your more typical field medical activities, you will be involved in cross functional account planning and the review of promotional and non-promotional materials. Training up to AQP or Final Signatory (for UK registered Pharmacists & Physicians) status is available in this opportunity.
Key responsibilities for the Medical Science Laison:
- Act as a scientific/medical expert in the Neurosciences field
- Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs across the territory
- Organise and deliver medical education projects
- Support company-sponsored and investigator-initiated studies
- Involved in preparation of publications
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and medial compliance
- Effectively collaborate as part of a cross-functional field team with Commercial and Market Access colleagues
- Deliver internal training in the therapy area as required
- Review promotional and non-promotional materials
Candidate Requirements:
- Science/medical based degree and ideally educated to higher degree level (eg. MSc, PhD, MPharm, MD etc.)
- Experience as an MSL in the UK
- Background in Neurology / Neuroscience / CNS is strongly preferred
- Demonstrable experience in managing key internal and external relationships
- Effectively assimilate scientific and clinical data to the relevant audience
- Driving license
