Medical Director, Global Pharmacovigilance


Pharma-Partners are working with a leading Global Biopharmaceutical organisation based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to identify a Medical Director, Pharmacovigilance and Patient Safety. The role will sit within their Global Headquarters working across both early and late stage programmes for specific therapeutic areas in an ever-increasing portfolio but with a focus on Rare Disease, Immunology and Oncology. The Medical Director will lead signal detection and risk management activities for designated global/regional products and can progress into a therapeutic or product lead role.



  • Lead and support development programs across early and late stage indications
  • Act as company-wide Safety and Medical expert for assigned therapeutic area
  • Expert for Safety Benefit/Risk profile for compounds and provide input to company-wide Safety profiles
  • Develop and maintain Risk Management Plans
  • Liaise with Global stakeholders including FDA, EMA, Health Canada and additional Global Regulatory Agencies



  • Must be a licensed Physician (M.D/D.O)
  • Office based in Cambridge, Massachusetts - Eligibility to live and work in the United States is essential
  • Global PV / Patient Safety experience is essential
  • 20% global travel required
