Medical Advisor – Oncology

The Medical Advisor will lead medical affairs activities in Oncology, with responsibility a new pipeline treatment. This gives the successful candidate the opportunity to drive pre-launch activities in the UK and in doing so work closely with Market Access teams.
This is a key role in the Oncology team and the hiring manager is seeking an experienced Final Signatory Pharmacist or Physician with experience as a Medical Advisor, MSL or from a Medical Review background.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the medical plan and tactics
- Provide medical input into and support with ongoing Market Access activities
- Provide scientific and medical expertise to colleagues in Medical Affairs, Marketing and Commercial groups
- Work closely with MSL team on field medical activities
- Integral part of the cross functional brand team
- Guide the development of integrated data generation projects
- Act as an internal disease area expert in Oncology
- Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs
- Review and approve materials in line with the ABPI Code of Practice
- Involved in congress and symposia
Candidate Requirements:
- Medical or Pharmacy degree with appropriate UK registration
- UK Medical Advisor experience is preferred
- Candidates with experience as an MSL or Medical Reviewer with Final Signatory status will also be considered
- Final Signatory status
- Any therapy area background will be considered
- Communication and stakeholder management skills
