Global Field Medical Excellence Director

Pharma-Partners is currently recruiting a Global Field Medical Excellence Director for a top 10 pharma company.

This global, strategic, newly created vacancy will be focussed on the area of Dermatology and work closely with global and affiliate field teams regarding best practice, value add and strategic implementation. The Global Field Medical Excellence Director role is responsible for having quality oversight and coordination across Field Medical Excellence operations OUS (outside US) in support of the overall Global Medical Affairs strategy and business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Participates in development of medical plans focusing on the role of field medical
  • Responsible for medical elements of playbooks (for assigned TA) ensuring GMA alignment
  • Working in collaboration with med excellence functions to enhance ways of working and tools available when required
  • Working with analytics team to ensure dashboard capability to report on KPIs / monitoring metrics
  • Responsible for ensuring medical strategy is fully implemented in the affiliates in partnership with the area team
  • Co-create TA reports with digital ops team, area and affiliate teams and be the TA SME on data analytics and utilisation
  • Responsible for ensuring DPO/Insights process is fully understood and implemented

The Candidate:

  • Advanced Degree of PharmD, MD or PhD in a scientific discipline is preferred
  • Previous Medical Science Liaison Experience, ideally at leadership level
  • Direct management experience
  • Experience working at an above country level
  • Strategic mindset, strong influencer and great communications

Remuneration:

  • Basic annual salary depending on experience plus a standard benefits package
