Field Medical Advisor – Ireland
We are currently supporting a global, specialty pharmaceutical company to hire a motivated and experienced medical affairs professional to join their medical affairs team in Dublin, Ireland. The successful candidate will work on key launches within the companies Nephrology portfolio, supporting the medical strategy and providing scientific expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a scientific expert to support medical strategies and activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and other stakeholders.
- Provide medical insights and support to the commercial team and other internal departments.
- Develop and deliver medical education and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards in all medical activities.
- Contribute to the development and review of medical and promotional materials.
- Support clinical research activities and provide scientific input on study design and execution.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD) or advanced degree in life sciences (PhD, PharmD)
- Proven track record in a medical affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of the Irish Medical system, ideally having worked in it previously
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with HCPs and KOLs
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Willingness to travel as required
Remuneration:
- Basic annual salary depending on experience plus a standard benefits package
