EU Associate Medical Director - Neuroscience

Pharma-Partners is working with a small specialty pharma business focussed on improving patients' lives who suffer from rare disease by developing and commercialising products in areas of unmet need.

This newly created "above country" Medical Affairs position is responsible for developing and executing strategy as a pipeline molecule lead whilst providing wider support to local teams on the greater portfolio. This is a highly visible position in the regional medical team and will play a key part in bringing late-stage pipeline through to launch over the next couple of years.

Key responsibilities:

  • Development and execution of medical strategy for assigned pipeline molecule
  • Provide medical expertise and support to business on wider portfolio
  • Member of EU therapy area Brand Team
  • Act as subject matter expert for in-country Medical Teams
  • Support development of publication plans to cover EU data generation needs
  • Work effectively with cross functional teams in launch planning
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across the business
  • Engage with national and regional KOLs
  • Involved in creation of training and scientific materials for internal purposes
  • Attend appropriate national and international congress

Candidate Requirements:

  • UK registered Medical Doctor or Pharmacist
  • ABPI Final Signatory status
  • Medical Affairs experience essential ("above country" preferred but not required)
  • Neurology, CNS, or Rare Diseases experience in industry or from clinical practice
  • Product launch experience preferred
  • Proven leadership experience in a matrix environment
  • Effective communicator and relationship management
