Compliance Officer/ Compliance Manager

Pharma-Partners is currently recruiting a Compliance Officer/Manager for a specialist, small pharma company

This position will support, facilitate and drive a compliance culture within the company across all business units through ensuring that company functions in a legal and ethical manner by maintaining high levels of business integrity and compliant ways of working.

This role will work closely with cross functional groups, training teams and new starter on updates in legislation and codes and be responsible for shaping compliance processes moving forward. If you enjoy operational aspects of Medical Affairs, implementing change and reviewing medical materials then this may be a great opportunity to take on more responsibility and exposure to other areas of a pharma business.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the processes and SOPs that apply across the company and specifically for promotional affairs
  • Leading local compliance programs with alignment to global directions
  • Training new starters and providing refresher training to ensure relevant staff are fully conversant with the appropriate Codes (e.g. ABPI, IPHA, PAGB, and MHRA Blue Guide)
  • Review promotional and educational material
  • Become the expert in and manage the Veeva vault PromoMats electronic approvals process
  • Oversee compliance aspects of relevant third-party providers

The Candidate:

  • Degree qualified
  • Candidates must have experience in the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in a compliance position, from a medical or legal standpoint
  • ABPI code and medical review knowledge required
  • Effective communicator and team player
  • Excellent presentation and project management skills

Remuneration:

  • Basic annual salary depending on experience plus a standard benefits package
