Associate Medical Director, EMEA - CAR-T
Pharma-Partners is working with a pharmaceutical client making headway in the pioneering space of CAR-T. As they go through a growth phase, we're supporting our client with the recruitment of an Associate Medical Director to support activities across the EMEA region.
The Associate Medical Director will play a key role in the EMEA Medical Affairs team with a core focus on driving medical education activities on an international scale. Providing medical expertise to the business the Associate Medical Director will work closely with a range of key internal stakeholders whilst effectively developing and managing relationships with leading international KOLs.
The Associate Medical Director will be required to travel internationally on a regular basis which includes attendance at all major conferences.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the creation of non-promotional materials
- Keep up to date with industry and therapy area trends assessing the competitor landscape
- Be a medical expert for the region
- Develop medical education programmes for EMEA
- Plan and lead activities for symposium
- Create pre- and post-conferences presentations
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders across the EMEA business
- Ensure materials and educational activities in the region are of the highest scientific quality
- Represent the business and engage with therapeutic leaders at all relevant major international conferences
Candidate Requirements:
- Medical Doctor or Pharmacist required with relevant UK registration
- Therapeutic expertise in Haematology, Oncology, Haemato-Oncology, or Immunology required
- Medical Affairs experience essential ("above country" preferred but not required)
- Ideally a Final Medical Signatory or potential to be trained into one
- Previous track record in setting up symposia and leading events related activities
- Proven leadership experience in a matrix environment
- Effective communicator and relationship management
- Able to travel internationally (minimum expectation of 40%)
Salary & Remuneration:
- Competitive basic annual salary plus a benefits package to include car allowance, bonus, and long-term incentives
