Key responsibilities: The Principal Medical Writer will work across a range of UK, Global and European medical communications activities, build on their existing therapeutic and project experience and use insights to generate innovative ways of engaging healthcare professionals and patients. You will typically lead one client account and provide scientific support to others. 

A Principal Medical Writer is a key part of the team, balancing the responsibilities of developing the scientific strategy for projects with day to day delivery of high-quality content. At this level, an individual may start to manage a medical writer. 

As a senior member within an agency, a Principal Medical Writer will be responsible for growing an account organically whilst also identifying new business opportunities. The individual will also be expected to attend client and external meetings – this could involve small advisory boards, or weeklong conferences within a specified therapy area.

Qualifications:PhD minimum

Salary band:£45,000 - £55,000 Basic Salary Pension, Annual Leave, Gym membership, Cycle to work scheme
