You will typically lead one client account and provide scientific support to others.
A Principal Medical Writer is a key part of the team, balancing the responsibilities of developing the scientific strategy for projects with day to day delivery of high-quality content. At this level, an individual may start to manage a medical writer.
As a senior member within an agency, a Principal Medical Writer will be responsible for growing an account organically whilst also identifying new business opportunities. The individual will also be expected to attend client and external meetings – this could involve small advisory boards, or weeklong conferences within a specified therapy area.
